Program Development

Following the establishment of the Water Security program, a second phase in managing agricultural commodities for export shall begin in Kilifi County, Kenya; as this location is ideal for regional sourcing throughout the East African sector, and is also proximity to Port of Mombasa.  Produce may be acquired from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda or other Sub-Saharan countries.  Initial stages include connecting with farmers and agricultural agencies, and form understandings that surpass what may be considered as “ordinary business”.  Upon securing these resources, working capital to construct and operate drying facilities will be derived from various donor sources, philanthropic entities and support from major organizations which share similar objectives.  A pilot or initial operation shall be put in place to physically demonstrate production, followed by expanded plant capacity in one or more phases.  Growth models may be funded from net revenue and/or further financial support by organizations who initiated the respective work.
